7:15PM Special guest confirmed: A (re)Vision16 conversation with Kären Sullivan Haley - Executive Director at Indianapolis Cultural Trail, Inc. will share with us the recent expansion of the Cultural Trail, and all the factors involved in scoping and planning for future expansion efforts, etc.
Perhaps we can learn, “What must we do to help bring the Cultural Trail north along Delaware (or another corridor) to link with future upgraded bike/ped infrastructure along E. 16th Street + the Health District.”
7:45PM Prep/planning update for the the upcoming Saturday 4/25/2026 tactical urbanism BUILD DAY at 16th and the Monon Crossing with implementation lead organization 16xMonon.org

8:00PM Discuss Traffic Speed and Behavior Data Gathering initial results, and what other events are required (Pre/Post)
(re)Vision16 and 16xMonon partners are volunteering to gather traffic speed data PRE and POST intervention. This will help us demonstrate the outcomes of this tactical urbanism build on 4/25, and hopefully the data will show a need for a permanent traffic calming infrastructure investment by the city.
We still need several volunteers to sign up for 1 hr shifts. The volunteers will use speed radar gun to gather vehicle traffic speed crossing the Monon Trail & also complete observation data of Monon Greenway Trail user interaction with vehicles at the crossing. Central Indiana Cycling has assisted us in preparing for this. CIC shared their forms used at similar interventions along the Monon on northern crossings.

West Action Team Update: 1606 N. Delaware Street - efforts to end the crashes into this historic building at the 16th and N. Delaware St. intersection (8 smashes in 2025), one big dent in brick wall in February, 2026.
Update Indy Health District efforts and infrastructure items (16th and Meridian to 16th & MLK). If in attendance, we will acknowledge Adairius Gardner - Old North Side neighbor, and Dir. of Governmental Affairs for IU Health, and discuss how to collaborate with the Indy Health District.
